Doug's Story
I attended Molloy High School and Queens College, and I have a Bachelor's in Psychology.
My wife Patricia and I have been married since 1975, and we have lived in Massapequa Park since 1982.
Our oldest son Brian and his wife Stacey live in Chapel Hill NC with their 3 children, two boys and one girl.
Our son Michael and his wife Lindsay live in Richmond VA and are having their first baby in January 2016.

That's the good news.
The bad news is that Patricia was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's nine years ago.
She has been in the Cold Spring Hills Rehabilitation Center in Woodbury for since January 2011.
I retired from the New York Times on December 31 2015.
It might not be the Retirement Pat and I envisioned, but I intend to enjoy it as much as possible.
