Doug's Story

Hello, I missed seeing lots of you for our 25th reunion. It's a shame we skipped it. I'm living in Winchester, VA. My wife, Kim and I have 4 children - Hannah (13), Makenah (8), Lilah (6), and Isaiah (2). God has blessed me with a beautiful family. I'm very busy with my business, Palmer Media - Audio Video production, creating video, audio and web products. More importantly, I install Audio Visual in churches, with my latest project finishing at First Presbyterian in Winchester. I enjoy designing and installing systems for worship, and training staff how to use them. After high school, I graduated from Shenandoah College in Winchester, studying Arts Management, and majoring in guitar. I worked at several local radio stations during that time (WXVA, WINC, Q102). lliamsburg, playing guitar in a show there - The Goodtime Jamboree. From there, I worked as Studio Director at National Cassette Services in Front Royal ('87-'96), Frederick County VA Schools as Media Specialist ('96-'04), and currently operate my own business ('89 - present). I'm Technical Director at Grace Community Church in Winchester, VA. It's a blast, and always enjoyable. We're a very contemporary church, focusing on creative ways to reach the lost. I still play music. I'm currently part of Grace 101, in the Winchester area. We're a contemporary Christian group, and enjoy ministering to churches and events around the Shenandoah Valley. grace101band.com I enjoy keeping in touch with folks from Musselman, and see a few of you from time to time.
