Doug's Story
Life
After graduation from RMC I spent 2 1/2 years in Calgary and 2 1/2 years in Germany with the Lord Strathconas Horse (Royal Canadians), an armoured regiment of the Canadian Army. I left Germany in 1968 and spent 3 years in St Hubert PQ at a military headquarters. From there, I got interested in computers and was posted to Ottawa as a computer programmer/Analyst. a teacher. I moved to Fort St John, BC in 1990 as an accountant and taught in the local college. In 1998, I moved back to Ottawa where I am currently retired and enjoying the good life.
I am happily married with two 'children' and two grand-children.
