Doug's Story

Life Started college, quit college; Suddenly didn't know what the heck I was doing. Worked for some farmers under the alias of Emmanuel Labor. That led to bricklaying -- did that for 7 years. That led to working on electrical transformers, fieldwork all over the U.S. (every state except dang-blasted Hawaii) and all the Canadian Provinces. Worked in Canada for 9 years, lived there for 4. FlowerPlantnFool is one of my Screen Names -- tens of thousands of flowers is my deal now. More is better. Middle-age.... HEY even got married 4-1-2001 !! Early 2010 update: 30 wasn't much, neither was 40. But being *50* now... Now that is hard to believe. : P Did you ever wonder if the sun wishes for its peripheral benefits, those evanescent if not otherwise tattered and exploded pennants, independently surrendered extensions of its corona, in-bounds but off-limits and preferential, the wavy streamers, banners cycling in the solar wind, assuredly circumstantial though possessed of prospects thoroughly involuntarily ...Expand for more
compliant, lost gonfalons given up to something not quite prevalent, nor seldom, if ever, though one might hazard a guess, and one will do so, that they're tattooed away, counterfeited on the ether, crying tears for their circumspect origin, transversing the medium, transgressing into a made-up future, no matter the cost, the size, or specified price, and one might wonder about color, or other, or not, or if the big dogs can see them, big dogs that stream as they run, like little dogs while bathing, or better, or worse, whatever works and helps their condition or are scrupulously avoided, the big dogs running south to escape the Aurora Borealis, ribbons blue, green and white, as if it was decided, the difference being made, addressed to the big dog running across your plate on Thanksgiving day, all latitude and longevity, vengeance and apocalypse, a timely remembrance to forget, the equidistant consequences cordoned off for the big dog to run through, past a hardened moon with wishes too, Just like the rest of us.
