Douglas's Story

I always wanted to be a minister when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a o.k. idea. As it turns out, they were mislead. I like to go out with crazy people! If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have quiet, cozy lighting, and comfortable environment to be able to deal with the day-to-day. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Mr. Sam Oberholtzer, because he was da bomb! Unfortunately, he left us last summer.. Among my obsessions are many parts of life. That's why I love all parts of school, study, teaching, etc. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel it's location and add on a suburb. My dream home would be a chateau in France. My current age is 59.5. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be o.k.. I was so completely uninformed. I want to earn post doctoral fellowships in everything in the universe. Maybe when I get to heaven, I'll know everyting or maybe I'll just stop wonderi...Expand for more
ng? My best friend would tell you I'm a good person, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as humorous. There's no more bell bottoms, the apache ties are gone, I can't fit into the Neru jacket anymore. The platform shoes are all gone. I don't need a hair dryer anymore. There's not much hair. The belt's 12 inches longer than it was when I first started my career. In 10 years, I hope to be in heaven. I'm going to get there by the grace of Jesus. My first job was at Rea & Derricks in the Colonial Park Mall, where I got paid a forgetable salary to wash dishes. What I remember most about it is that the mall was not enclosed at that time.. My childhood was poor, but rich! As an infant, my paternal grandmother walked me to visit the one room school house I was supposed to attend when 6 yrs. old. However, when I finally became six, the West Hanover School building was completed so I never attended that one room school.
