Douglas's Story
Life
After spending several years bouncing around the Country chasing Great Snow working for Resorts, I decided it was time to grow up. For a while I worked as an Engineer at Hotels.
After being Laid-Off from Hotels, I did a little soul searching. To fill the time, I delivered cars for my brother Greg. After a While, I decided it was time to do whatever is needed to secure my future.
During the month of April 2005, I attended US Truck Driving School in Detroit, MI. Now I am Considered a Professional Driver with a CDL Class A with Air Brakes License.
I drove Semis OTR for about a year. After a few speeding tickets in my car got me bounced from Trucking, i went to work for a Dealership with my brother.
In November of 2008 I returned to Colorado to work for Vail Resorts: Breckenridge Hospitality as an Engineer. Have the privelege to say that I live in ALMA, CO The Highest Town in North America Elev. 10,578 feet.
I come to this website, to reconnect with old friends. Email is the best way to reach me.
I love photography. To see some of my stuff check out: capturemycolorado(dot)com and search by my last name.

her and things are easy. In Middle School, I had a lot of problems adjusting to rotating classes and to life in general. I ended up getting into a lot of trouble.
For High School, it was decided that I would not go with all of my friends to Grosse Pointe South, but instead to a Private School.
The first Freshman Year was at Orchard Lake St. Mary's were I passed, like 5 classes out of 10. Had problems adjusting to Dorm life and ended up fighting and failing my first year of High School.
My next High School was Grand River Academy in Ohio. Class Size was smaller, Dorms were much Smaller. Ended up doing well Academically but kept getting into Fights. In mid Winter I was thrown out.
My Next and Final High School, was Hampshire Country School in New Hampshire. My Parents had told me that if I was kicked out I would end up at Howe or Culver Military Academys. Thank God this school worked.
I ended up Gradutating from HCS, and had a great time while I was there. I met many people and other kids from around the world.
I will always be Indebted to both my Parents and Family who never gave up on me. And Hampshire Country School you saved me from Spiraling out of Control, Thank You.
