I will be married for 30 years this August and have two wonderful sons, 24 yo and 22 yo. One graduated from the University of MD and we are working on getting the second one through college (and out of our basement)! Both stand way above me at 6 feet 4 1/2 and played HS baseball and basketball. I worked several years for the DOD DA in civilian personnel in Alexandria, VA and Columbia, SC, prior to my children's births. I was primarily a stay at home mom and completed my master's degree in psychology(existential phenomenology)from Duquesne University while my youngest was in kindergarten. After moving to Maryland from Pittsburgh, I worked PT as a child and adolescent therapist for witnesses of domestic violence. Eventually, I began a doctoral program in psychology at a private catholic college in PA, driving over an hour one way and often arriving home after midnight.
