was by far my greatest challenge (The Medicare Law was enacted in 1965 and it was horrifically upsetting to the medical care) Other achievements include the building of the Audubon County Memerial Hospital in Audubon, Iowa. Last but not least was the years as executive Director of the Southeastern Michigan Chapter of the American Red Cross. The Blood procurement , processing and distribution was the major purpose of my appointment but all facets of the Red Cross were my responsibility.
Whatever I accomplished in these positions I was successful because of the God granted gift of selection and placement of fine men and women.".
