Duane/Jon's Story
Life
I met Carrolyn in 1965 at the Young Singles Group in our Church and we got married in 1967. We have a daughter Allison married to Scott Sutherland and they have a 8 year old daughter, Lauren and a 4 year old son, Duke Sutherland named after the great Hawiian surfer. Carrolyn and I frequently spend time with the grandkids sometimes as often as 3 times a week. They live in Ross, Marin County CA just a few miles from us in Piedmont, Alameda County CA. It is a blessing to have them nearby.

group home in Fremont, California and continues to go to school. She loves to dance, make jewelry, go to movies, cook and sociialize with friends and family.
My Job
I continue to work as an Interior Designer and a Colorist for the exterior and interior of homes and businesses. My daughter Allison and I am working on projects together and she gives my jobs new life and me great joy.
I always wanted to be an Artist, Architect or a Landscape Archtect. My family thought any of those fit me. As it turns out they were close as I became an Interior Designer.
