Life After graduation from Winston, I spent five wonderful year at Ole Miss majoring first in Accounting (don't really know why) and then in Journalism. Of course, I was way involved in student life, student government and fraternity activities. Paul Peterson and I were roommates our first year at Ole Miss. Ole Miss was a lot of fun, and I think I learned a few things while I was there. I recieved my BS in Journalism in 1988 and immediately moved to Memphis. I joined the Public Relations Dept at LeBonheur Children's Medical Center where I spent 10 wonderful years. I managed a great team, and became very involved with community activities in Memphis. About nine years ago, I joined the Corporate Communications Dept. at FedEx. It's a great company to work for. We have 250,000 worldwide employees, and only 30,000 here in Memphis. I've worked in Media Relations as a "FedEx Spokesperson," in Crisis communications where we handle exciting and challenging issues, such as 9/11 and hurricanes.
