Ed's Story
Life
Since January of 1996 I have been a professor of hydrogeology at the University of Nebraska. (Go Huskers!) I currently hold the administrative positions of Associate Director of the School of Natural Resources, and Director of the Justin Morrill Scholars program in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. My research areas include ecohydrology, isotope hydrology, groundwater geology, and surface and groundwater chemistry. otope hydrology and wetlands. When I'm not working, I enjoy playing bluegrass music, mountain biking and hiking. I head west to Rocky Mountain National Park whenever I can. I enjoy G-scale garden railroading and I have a layout in my back yard. I ocassionally perform original folk music and some favorite folk covers at several of the local coffee houses and I play at a festival with a bluegrass band each summer. I regret that I have lost touch over the years, and I would love to hear from my high school classmates.
