Ed's Story
Life
Finished high school and made my first abortive attempt at college but learned I was too immature for college and went off to kill folks for a while. Returned from the Army (helicopter driver) with new incentive to finish college and did so ... then joined the Navy to fly faster aircraft for the next 20 years. While in the Navy I completed my Master's and Doctorate (at taxpayer's expense, thank you!), saw a bit of the world, and started writing books. Retired from the military and went to work for a pharmaceutical company for a couple of years...Expand for more
, meanwhile writing a book on ... of all things ... Alzheimer's care for families. Book caught on, I was invited onto the board of the Alzheimer's Research Foundation and here I am serving as its director.
What else? Let's see, I have five kids all told (three natural, two adopted, three different mothers ... don't ask) and now am up to 7 grand-kids ... ALL IN TN! Oh, I also have cancer at the moment with surgery scheduled for next Monday ... will update as things develop ... or don't, as the case may be.
