Edith's Story
Life
I've experienced things in God that have changed my life forever. I've learned about the authority that God has given us, and how we should use it for His glory. I've felt God's presence, and have been to heaven and back. I've been healed, and seen miraculous healings. I've been a part of people getting delivered, and healed. I talk to God everyday, all the time. He is my best friend.
I thought I'd have fun with the Story Wizard here on the right to tell my life story.
I wanted to be a stewardess and a sewing teacher when I grew up. My family and friends didn't really know about that idea. As it turns out, I didn't become those, but I love how my daughter did learn to sew. I tried to teach her but it worked better for her to have a class. She did that in Oregon. Now she will have the knowledge of sewing all her life. I bet she will make baby clothes for her first baby like I did.
When I am about to sleep, I used to do sudoku, and it helps me think on numbers and not the problems of the day. It helps me clear my mind, and get sleepy. Now I do free cell.
I remember changing a sign at a business to read a friend's last name during high school. Beth Davis and I still keep in touch! She is great.
Yeshua (Jesus) is my hero. I love the Torah (Bible). We home schooled our kids K-12th grade. They've done excellent in college. We used the SOS curriculum.
I was born in Indiana and my family lived in a few cities there until I was 7. We moved to FL for part of a year and then I grew up in Michigan through college. I went to MSU and met my wonderful husband whom I married in 1985. We lived in upstate New York, Michigan again, and then Ohio. We lived in Pasadena, CA, Sky Valley, CA (near Palm Springs), Central Point, Oregon and Medford. Then we move...Expand for more
d to Indiana again and have completed the cycle of life. Now we live in Wisconsin.
My kids are wonderful. My girl is an asset to me and a light of Christ to others. I am very proud of her. She owns her own business and is putting herself through college. My son is very considerate and kind to us. He attends college about 5 hours away from us and loves learning.
My favorite teachers were my sewing teacher, Mrs. Sonnevil, choir director Mr. Leonard, and Mr. Clark, my math teacher. I have fond memories of Mother A, my drama teacher, Mrs. Anketell.
I have seen my high school crush about 24 years after high school, and he remembered me, and my last name. We chatted. How fun,
I did win a tiny trophy for winning a word search at a time share condo in Florida while on a family reunion. LOL
One do over? Well, I seemed to have hurt one of my close friends unintentionally. He won't let me explain and threated me with the law not to speak to him over one message I sent. He and I were quite close in high school, so it hurts deeply.
In 10 years? I hope to be a better weight than I am today. I have lost some...
Beth and I became friends in 7th grade. In high school we said we were Best Friends Forever, and truly we are! Her parents are wonderful and I am so glad to keep up with them.
My first job was downtown Bay City, where I got paid to lower the price tags twice at one time. What I remember most about it is being nervous to run the cash register. I think it was Knapps?
My earliest memory was stacking cones...probably in Indiana.
I love to keep in contact with friends. I hope you enjoyed all this information and will write a note on my profile. Tell me about you, and please put up a picture!!
