Edward Bryan's Story
After St Mary's I went to San Jose Tech. I graduated in 1956 and went into the Navy. I made the Navy a career, retiring as a Chief Electronic Techician (Submarines) in 1977. I went to work for Storage Technology Corp until 2003 as a Senior Field Service Engineer. During this time I managed to acquire about 100 hours of University time but never had a desire for a degree. Somewhere during graduation and retirement I met and married my wife of 47 years. We have five children, six grandchildren and 2 1/2 great-granddaughters.
During our travels we have lived in California, Rhode Island, Virginia, MIssouri, Washington State, Illinios, Nebraska, Colorado and finally back to California. I have been in Hawaii, Guam, Midway, Hong Knog, Austraila, New Zealand Korea, China Fiji Islands. All ...Expand for more
of our travel has been military or job related.
We moved back to California to be near our family and hope to remain here until the end. I currently work for the local Police Department as a volunteer officer doing traffic and disaster, computer work and fingerprinting.
I would like to hear from any class mates from St Mary's, but only recall a few names. Must be getting old. I remember my first crush, Elizabeth Bell (we called her "Tinker") but don't think she knew about it. I'm sure she has made a great life for herself.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Sister Helen Celcila, because She helped me understand why and what I should do with my life..
If I won $100 million, I'd give half of it to our church, then spend the rest on family, bills and charity.
