Life
I've been in New Orleans for the last 13 years working as a biologist for the Army Corps of Engineers. My wife is also a biologist who works for the state. but we've adapted. Great food, zydeco, jazz, Mardi Gras, and the French Quarter make up for losing the mountains (well, not totally). I miss having four seasons. Yeah, "ya'll" is part of my vocabulary now. Later Gator.
Oh yeah, Katrina was a mess, but I made out OK. Life is pretty much back to normal now.
