We were living in Alpharetta, GA at the time. The NWS had issued a tornado watch that Saturday morning. Midway through the afternoon I heard the tornado warning sirens begin to blare. From outside came the sound like a railroad train rushing towards us through the pine barr...Expand for more
ens. Instead of seeking shelter I ran to a front window to see the tornado. Luckily it had gone back up into a cloud. I later heard the tornado touched down about a mile away and caused extensive damage. So curiosity may kill more than the cat, but sometimes you get lucky.
