Edward's Story
Since leaving High School (a bit early) I went on to get an Associate's at Ventura College and worked out at Camarillo State Hospital as a licenesed Psychiatric Technician.
I married young (19). My first wife (Kim Millhorn) also attended Ventura High. It was the classic story of falling for the girl next door. As fate would have it we just weren't destined to stay together. One good thing that came of it was my oldest Son.
Not one to stay down for long I met my wife whilst working out at the Hospital (no not a patient doh!)she was an intern student from Germany.
In the summer of 84 I went out to meet her family and ended up falling in love with the Country and their culture. We got married and a few years later had a Son together. My oldest Son was permentl...Expand for more
y with us, so this made us a family of 4.
I ended up working for the US Military (needed to in order to remain in the Country). Eventually I was transfered to England (1988) and remained until 2003 when my family and I moved back to the States. We now live near DC and are loving it.
I still play the drums, and even played in front of some pretty large crowds as an opening act for Golden Earing in 1985. Unfortunately I never made it famous, but I have travelled fairly extensively and learned to speak some foreign languages, so I am not complaining.
I now work in IT as a Network and Storage - Solutions Architec with a focus on Federal Sales. Who would of thought?
