Life
2-21-06: Hi everyone! I moved to New Orleans in 1/99 to settle there. "Katrina" hit 8/29/05. I rode out the hurricane (scary), trapped at the apt complex 2 days (7 ft of water-lost everything), rescued by boat to The Convention Center (4-5 days, 25,000 of us), helicopter to N.O. airport, jet to Arkansas Army base/refugee camp (2-3 days, 8,000 of us). My sister Kathy and nephew Joe drove 20 hours straight from Tucson to get me out...Expand for more
9/7. Stayed in Tucson 4 months, then 3 months Alexandria VA with sister Cindy. Moved to Shallotte NC 4-14-06 to April 2007 (near Myrtle Beach). Life has NOT been boring. A lot of people helped me out and I will forever be grateful. Hope you all are doing great!
7-23-11 UPDATE: I moved from Shallotte and spent a year in Mobile, AL. Then I moved to Seminole FL where I have been living with my sister for 3 years. I have severe emphysema.
