Edwin's Story
Life
After graduating from LHS, I attended Kent State, majoring in music ed. for a year before transferring to a small church school in Eastern PA - Ursinus College - where I majored in Pol. Sci. Following Urisinus, I attended Princeton Theol. Seminary. I sang in the touring choir one year and one summer and then took two years away, which I spent in the San Francisco area. There I met and married my wife of (now) 39 years, Janet.
After spending our honeymoon living and working on the valley floor of Yosemite National Park, I finished school, at which point we then moved, first to Vernon, CT, and six years later to the South Shore of Boston, MA, where we still reside.
Following ten years in the church where I worked mostly with children and young people, I then spent the next 20+ years in elementary education.

ghly enjoyed helping to raise our two daughters, and was involved in music and theater on the side (if there IS a "side", when you are a teacher).
Now I am retired and continue to be involved in vocal music and am loving being a long-distance grandfather to two very sweet granddaughters - almost 5 years and almost 2 years - with a third on the way.
Always trying to find ways to be useful in the community, I volunteer at the library, church and occasionally with such projects as Habitat for Humanity - as we have been most fortunate in our lives over the years.
I also enjoy staying in touch with family and friends, and in fact, spent a good bit of time doing family history research when I first retired. I continue to dabble in that when I am inspired. I have also written three or four songs for my granddaughters as well.
