Eileen's Story
Life
I graduated from the University of Georgia (BSEd 1972 - MEd 1974) - member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority. Moved to Kentucky after college - have lived in Frankfort, the state capital, since 1975. Owned-managed my 4-plex apartment buildings since 1976. Married Richard Fisher in 1983 and have 3 children (2 daughters - 1 son). I am blessed with 2 grandchildren. My husband and I are both animal lovers and have a large canine-feline family. Several of our rescues are special needs either geriatric or missing a leg, We have also fostered pets of military members while they're deployed.
School
My best high school memory: 4 years on Girls Field Hockey team. I played right fullback and was co-captain my senior year. ttended 45th and 50th reunions for RHS Class of 1968. It was such a joy to reunite with so many classmates and hear about their families and life since our Ridge HS days long ago. (Updated December 2020)
College
My years at the University of Georgia had a great impact on my life. It has been 48 years since graduation however I'm in regular contact with many college friends from dorm and sorority. For the last twenty years, I've had a reunion once a year with 5 of my closest GEORGIA dorm friends somewhere on the east coast. The 6 of us get together for a four day weekend although we live in 5 different states (Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, and West Virginia). I'm a huge college football fan - primarily SEC conference. Being a GEORGIA alum is fun during football season. My home office has lots of GEORGIA Bulldogs memorabilia. Go DAWGS!
