Elaine's Story

Having my children has altered my life forever. Katie awaked the mother in me but Gabrielle has sent me down an entirely different path. I am studying anything and everything related to autism spectrum disorder. I have realized that the key is for me to get Gabrielle to allow me into her world and see it as she does. She has taught me more about love in the three and a half years she has blessed me with her presence than most people learn in a lifetime. I truly know the deffinition of unconditional love. To love me you have to love yourself and you have to love her. I have learn to accept everything and forgive everything. Their isa reson for everything that happens to us whether postive or negativeand you will learn from them passing thru your life. Do not judge others even when they hurt you, maybe one day they will regret it or maybe something happened in their life that will excuse their actions....only God can judge. And I know he has given me a peace and understanding that few people reach. We were all young once, we all make mistakes, and a lot of times we look back and regret them. If you have hurt someone, ask for their forgiveness. If someone has hurt you, forgive them in your heart and always chearish the good memories.......... I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. I am now specializing in wound care. I hope to sit for the WCC in the next year. I love wounds, I love to be a primary player in the healing process. It is rewarding with a sense of euphoria with a job well done. The power to take pain from another human is undiscribable accomplishment. My job happens to be my idea of my dream career. I love teaching student nurses. I love continuing education. Katie will be 5 this December but she will not be starting kindergarten un...Expand for more
til next year. She has been accepted into preschool and will be starting in August. She is very smart, creative, and has a sense of empathy beyond her tender age of 4 1/2. Gabrielle was accepted into preschool and will start in August. She is my mystery. She is the air that I breathe. I liveto hear her voice and for her to look me in the eye. My selfishness wants to hear her call, "mommy" so bad that it leaves a lasting taste in my mind. I will live my life to make hers the best she can be. My on line cake business is taking off. I am specializing in gluten free, cassein free, soy free diets. I love organic, and am trying to go green I love living in the south. I am so glad I am not in Bluefield, it is so outdated and nothing their for my kids to do, no opportunity. I love not having the snow. Nearly all of my dearest friends have moved away from Bluefield and seem to be happier elsewhere. I will always have good memories of growing up there but that is all that is left for me there is the memories Thenext big highlight of my life is that my one true love is showing more and morelike a form of perfection and he makes me happier by each passing minute My favorite way to relaz is talking to the man I love, bubble baths, pedicures, and working out at the gym If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have stethscope, coffee, and etra cigarettes to be able to deal with the day-to-day. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Dawn Nichols, because I would give and her kids a big ole hug. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel everything and add on a sunroom. My dream home would be three stories high. I have learned unconditional love and unconditioal forgiveness, life is to short to stay mad and miss out on the best things
