Elaine's Story
Life
Since Graduation:
Went to college and graduated in 1989 as a RN and have been doing that ever since. I work mostly with Pediatrics (children) and I also work at Halifax Medical Center ER with adult patients.
I finally got married in 2001 after meeting my husband online in 1999. He resided in Melbourne, FL and moved in my house in 2000. We planned a family and miscarried our first pregnancy in January 2002 and then had our 1st Son, Matthew Robert Daley, on October 25, 2002 and then had our 2nd Son, Andrew Daniel Daley, on November 14, 2003. We still reside in Ormond Beach. My husband is a Computer programmer. We have 2 cats: Simba and Casper and salt water fish.
Well, on January 14, 2000 my Dad passed away due to cancer at home. He was surrounded by his family. My Mom went on and continued with life after much convincing that this is what Dad would want her to do. She met another man and they got married in July 2001. They traveled the entire United States the last 3 years and in October 2005 she was diagnosised with Lung Cancer. She went through Chemotherap...Expand for more
y and Radiation therapy and was told in February that she was Cancer free, but was finishing the rest of the chemotherapy to make sure it doesn't come back. Well on March 7, 2006 she called me at work because she was having some shortness of breath so I took her to the ER and she had pnuenomia and it progressed rapidly and she passed away at the hospital with her children (Edna, Tom, Bob and myself) and her husband at her bedside. She was still fighting not to go but God wanted her and progressed to take her. We miss our Parents very much. I never thought that I would be this young and not have parents around.
So, now in August 2006 Edna and I are still close but are always there for each other. My boys know that their grandparents are in Heaven watching down on them and they live in their hearts.

Workplace
As of September 2006 I work for a group of pediatricians at FunCoast Pediatrics in Ormond Beach and I also work in the ER at Halifax Medical Center!
