Elaine's Story
After HS, became an RN thru MacQueen Gibbs Willis at the Memorial Hospital in Easton. Joined the Navy, got my BSN at UVa. Stayed for career, retired as Commander. Lived up and down the East Coast, with overseas tour in Okinawa, Japan. Married briefly to a Marine Officer, now married for 28 yrs to my Navy guy, an Ob/Gyn doc. Currently living on our horse farm in SC, but expect to make one or two more moves before ...Expand for more
we're done. Like to rehab houses and make old farms into lovely horse farms. Need a new project! My heart is in Maryland - the center of the Universe. But practically speaking, Tryon, NC, fits me perfectly. Lots of people pursuing equine activities in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, we live about 50 miles from that - the difference between Annapolis and Ridgely! So a move somewhere is certainly in the cards.
