Life Hi, there! I started at CalHi my sophomore year in 1985 with everyone who'd known each other since birth! But people were nice and I made a lot of friends and felt very comfortable by my senior year. Happy memories include hanging out with my best friend Joy (Adamson) Holiday at the beach, school dances, parties, her pool, etc. I had a crush on Jim Schubin but only dated one guy more than once: Ted Koerner--two weeks! My sister Ame Smith, started when I was a senior, so I didn't hang out with her much at school, poor little frosh. ;) I remember lots of MacDonald's runs and hanging out with Julie and Marianna. There were a lot of guys named Jim in my class... Melissa Papadimas was the nicest girl I knew. And I was thankful that even prior to being a senior, I was allowed on the senior steps in the small quad, thanks to the kindness of a few cheerleader/drama types who took pity on me!
