Elizabeth's Story
Life
Hi everyone! I married a year after high school and divorced 7 years later and moved back to our home town for 2 years. I had one daughter. I married again in 1990 to the most wonderful man. He had four children and later we had our child. So we have his, hers and ours. Our older children are 20 to 29 and the youngest (ours) is 9. We own our own business. We are independant insurance adjusters. I have lived in the Charleston area since 1989. I am a breast cancer survivor and thank God for each and everyday I have with my husband, children, and grandchildren (four at the present time). I love each and every day of life and look forward to the next day. I am big in to warning everyone that waiting until you are 40 or 50 for your first mamorgram is crazy. So please if you have put yours off go now. I was only 35 ...Expand for more
and already had breast cancer. Believe me Chemo and radiation is not something you want to do unless it saves your life. Early detection is the most important thing. By the way guys men get breast cancer also so do your self examinations as well. I wish all good luck and health and happiness and hope to hear from any and all of you soon. Our children consist of 4 girls and 2 boys. Raising 4 teenage girls at one time sure did get even with all the orniary things I got into. Miss them now that they are out on their own though. D-21-Single and looking (you know her as Crissy Lewis when we lived in Ravenswood) and S-9-Keeps us going strong with soccer, baseball, and life in general. Hope to hear from you soon.
