Elizabeth's Story
I am currently fulfilling my dream of becoming an art teacher by attending Longwood University. I'm majoring in Art Education with a mini concentration in Book Arts. (My one and only regret in life was never earning a college degree.) I am a member of Kappa Pi (International Honorary Art Fraternity) and Kappa Delta Pi (International Honorary Education Sorority).
On December 24, 2007, I married a wonderful man -- Tony Elliott. (Yes, this is my third marriage - as well as his third. No more after this one. lol.) We live in Burkeville where we are working on our happily ever after! We have a mini farm complete with goats, chickens, and cats. Yee-haw!
I currently attend Sandy Creek Baptist Church in downtown Deatonville, VA. I love our pastor and all the people there.

na, and Virginia. Every summer my mom would ship my brother and I back to Amelia to stay with my grandparents.
In 1985, my mom quit the service and we returned to Amelia to live. I attended Amelia Academy from 85-87, and then Amelia High School from 87-89. Graduated in 1989. Went to Averett College 89-90 and failed out. Sorry to say, I enjoyed my freedom a bit much.
My grandmother is my hero!!!
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have good music, great artwork, and awesome people to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 10% of it to my church, then spend the rest on family, friends and travel.
In 10 years, I hope to be teaching art at Longwood. I'm going to get there by hard work and determination.
If I could get one do-over, the only thing that I would do differently -- is my own little secret. :)
