Elizabeth's Story
Life
Graduated from Rowan University with a BS in Business Administration/Mgt Info. Systems in 5/98. Married to my husband on 9/19/98, then moved to Winter Park, Florida. Worked at Walt Disney World as a PC/LAN Analyst from 1998-2001. We finally got an opportunity to move back north. We bought a house in Warminster, PA. Right now, I work in IT at a wine & spirits distributor in PA.
I have a 1 1/2YO toddler, a 20YO step-daughter who lives with us, 2 sisters (1 living, 1 sadly deceased in 8/08 due to cancer), 3 nephews, 1 niece, 1 surviving parent (my dad), lots of cars (5 at last count!) and a cat, Mojo Jojo.
Exciting life, huh?
School
I suffered serious teenage angst in addition to big-hair syndrome. I hope most every photo of me from high school is burned and that people have long forgotten the angst.
Life is far...Expand for more
too short to dwell on the negativity of the past. I have no hard feelings about any of it. I hope no one else does, either. It's all a learning experience and makes you a better person in the end.
Anyone, no matter who you are, is welcome to mail me.
College
College was great. Living on campus was the best experience ever. Sometimes I wish I could go back to living on-campus. The accommodations weren't so great, but the carefree lifestyle where the biggest worries were homework, tests and laundry made everything so simple. Simple is a good thing.
Another great thing about college - joining Alpha Phi Omega has gained me some life-long friendships and I'm glad for every single moment of it.
Workplace
Work is work. It's hard. Somedays are more rewarding than others, but it pays the bills and, for that, I am grateful.
