Elizabeth is from Ontario, Wisconsin. Elizabeth's schools include Maranatha High School. Elizabeth later attended Maranatha Baptist Bible College.

"Ragged Old Flag"
I walked through a county courthouse square
On a park bench, an old man was sittin' there.
I said, "Your old court house is kinda run down,
He said, "Naw, it'll do for our little town".
I said, "Your old flag pole is leaned a little bit,
And that's a ragged old flag you got hangin' on it".
He said, "Have a seat", and I sat down,
"Is this the first time you've been to our little town"
I said, "I think it is"
He said "I don't like to brag, but we're kinda proud of

Footprints
One night i had a dream. I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene I noticed two sets of foot prints in the sand; one belonging to me, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that many times along the path of my life there was only one set of footprints. i also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in my life.
THis really bothered me and I questioned the LORD about it. "LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then i carried you."
This is one of my favorite poems ever. I love the fact that He will NEVER leave us or forsake us no matter what.".
