Elizabeth's Story
Life
My Job: Presently I'm a substitute teacher for elementary school children.
My Family: I had 2 boys, I have 2 older sisters, 3 nieces & 2 nephews.
School
I loved going to the pizza parlor with my friends Trish (the only one I am able to continuously have contact with), Yer, Spenta, Stephanie Chen, Lou, (all of which I don't know where they are)& others that I cannot recall at this moment. I was most inspired by a Jr. HS teacher in So. Bound Brook (N.K.Brampton School), who I'm still in contact with & friends with, Bobbie Blake. I loved the friends that I had made & still have, but not sure if I would repeat those years over again...I might have had better memories in a different town. I wonder whatever happened to a close HS friend. Her name back then was Yer Her; she was thinking about changing it to Kady or Katy. If anyone knows this person or has heard from her please let me know; our other friend Trish is also wondering about her. Thanks & God Bless.
College
College life at Embry-Riddle was great in Sept 1988. I could've done without my roommates. I did have a blast with the friends I did have. I do wonder about Brian Murphy, my last boyfriend before entering USAF in 1989. After being in the military for about 5 years & married for most of that time, I divorced, moved back to NJ with my 3 children, & continued my college education at Burlington Co. College, graduating with honors Phi Theta Kappa in 2001. I transferred to Rowan University, graduated with an Elementary Education/Psychology BA degree in May 2005. Also, plan to take additional courses to receive a Reading Certification to add to my degree and maybe a Masters. Time ...Expand for more
will tell.
Military
I am a vet of the USAF. Once out they paid for my college education.
Employment
I currently am a Substitute Teacher for different districts near where I live.
I enjoy reading. I just finished "The Help," which is now a movie I can't wait to see. I've also read Randy Pausch "Last Lecture," Mitch Albom "For One More Day," Elizabeth Gilbert "Eat, Pray, Love" (also saw the movie) & "Commited," among many others.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Brian Murphy & Yer Herr, because they were great friends to have when I needed them the most. I miss them..
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel everything and add on a whole new house instead of a tiny apt.. My dream home would be 3BR, 2 baths, a big kitchen with all LG appliances, spacious LR/DR combo, many closets & cabinets for storage, a relaxing/hobby room to destress, a pool, a garage for a new car (wish), a garden for veggies, herbs, & flowers, a backyard, front yard, a swing on the porch that goes all the way around the house, and lots of other emenities..
If I won $100 million, I'd give part of it to my church & other charities, then spend the rest on paying bills, buying a house of my own, and going on a long needed trip.
I share my home with my son, which I find enjoyable, helpful. & peaceful.
In 10 years, I hope to be living in my own home & visiting another country (my all time favorite). I'm going to get there by a leap of faith, hope, & lots of savings.
I've known Trish since Freshman year HS. We've been BEST FRIENDS ever since. We are always there for each other, thru thick & thin, good times & bod, happy & sad. BFF's & ALWAYS.
