Elizabeth's Story
Ok so here's my story for anyone who's interested. I grew up in Orlando on Mayfair Circle. I was known as 'Liz'. I have six sisters and one brother: Theresa, Rose, Frank, Linda, Margie, Annie and Chrissy - so if you think you remember me you might be thinking of one of my sisters. I went to Boone for a few years then Colonial for maybe a year or two when we moved to Union Park, and I dropped out of both. A lot of people might not remember me at either school, as I usually skipped classes a lot, going to the beach, amongst other things. So I survived those years, then later became the mother of a beautiful girl - woman now, she's in her 20s - and have pretty much been on my own for most of that time. My daughter has her own beautiful child, a son, my grandson. The jobs I've had are many: telephone solicitor, dept store sales, selling suntan lotion/oil at resort pools (I wore my bathing suit and got to swim most of the day...Expand for more
, that was my favorite), bartender, insurance, waitress, accountant, craft store clerk, county employee, collector, I'm probably forgetting a hat or two, and last but not least I now run a lighting distributor. I haven't left Orlando because most of my family is nearby, and I'm happy here (the beaches, weather) but yearn to move out West. I went there about three years ago, for the first time, and absolutely fell in love - with the mountains, the desert, the open spaces. I would really miss the beach, and don't know how I'd do in the winter (it actually SNOWS there -what is that!!??), but I sure want to give it a try. I work hard during the day, and at night sometimes I get to go out and listen to music, have a few drinks, and play pool if I can find any challengers. That's about all there is to say about me. Oh, I have a few cats at home (your neighborhood crazy cat lady), and also try to help with animal rescue when I can.
