Elizabeth's Story
I was the quiet type. I was in the band x 3 years,played the trumpet 1 year,but got talke into playing the bass horn by George Bulter.Boy now theres where the fun began. Bennie Huff was also in the band I believe she played the trombone. Anyway thats the way it started at OLE LHS.Between George.benny and me we drove Mr. Byrd crazy'
After Graduation I worked at Du Pont for a while. That was the place to work then if you wanted to make decent money then. Then Norman Hall and I got married on Sept-04-1954.We Have been married for 59 years come this Sept.We Have 3 sons and 1 daughter with 11 grandchildren and 9 great-great grandch...Expand for more

I got my 4 children in school and I went into college,graduating witha degree in registerid Nursing. I was in Nursing for 30 years and loved every miniute of it. Our family travel a lot. The children loved camping a lot. My husband and I traved to Nova Scoita .Alaska Halifax,NS .Well I will stopped this note. I would love to see some others with an update on their since graduation.I could write a book but don't have time, but you know those years at LHS
was the best of 2 worlds. I still think about it a lot and most of all the people,.....See you around Libby
