I have a B.S. from Hahnemann Hospital in Mental Health...and I worked on an in patient unit of psych fpr 2 years before I went back to school. I also have worked in a nursery, and a Pediatrician's office. After I married Richard, we had 2 children, Cheryl and Daniel and I loved helping in their school and classroom..so I decided to go back to college again and in my 40's I attended Widener University night school and go a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and further study to become a Reading Specialist...I LOVED teaching !! and taught Reading for several years.....Richard and I have been married for 40 years and we are very happy w...Expand for more
ith each other and our children are doing well...I have tutored and volunteered at a local community college teaching ESL students, Adults, mostly from other countries , so they can get their GED diplomas...High School Degrees. I knit and collect collect clothes for the poor and homeless in Philadelphia , and I am very involved with my church and serving my Lord and my community
I have used my "nursing" background so often, in all the teaching, I've been able to incorporate a lot of my medical knowledge...I worked part time at home for Pharmaceutical research groups , finding doctors for all kinds of focus groups relating to drug research and their specialities....
