Ellen's Story
I will always fondly remember my HS years at St. Mary's. I have frequently thought how lucky I was to have that experience then.
I became a nurse and at almost 72 I am still working 2 days a week in a large medical center in Seattle, WA. I moved here with my partner Roger from MN where we both had Ilived for 27 years. Three years after my husband Mike died at age 54 i met Roger on Match.com and we eventually moved out here. Roger is an east coaster too having grown up in Poughkeepsie, NY.
I have been very lucky to have found 2 great guys to love besides my great Dad who was our bus driver on our seinor trip to Stratford to see Macbeth. I remember Vince Tancredi catch...Expand for more
ing up with us when he hitched a ride on a motorcycle!
I did not have any children but have several neices, a nephew and great niece and nephew.
We live on the Olympic Peninsula near the Strait of San Jaun De Fuca. We love to go wine tasting and there is plenty of that in WA state. Of course, i still love reading and volunteer at our great local library. I also like to garden and keep trying to go past the Wednesday's NY Times crossword puzzle as it gets harder as the week goes on.
We get to visit my brother How in AZ and of course my brother in NJ who will soon be moving to N.C. where my sister lives.
I wish I could have been at our 50th reunion to see all of you.
