Upon graduating from Seaside High, I attended Cal, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and then went on to a small design school in San Francisco, where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design. The next several years were spent working for a number of Architecture and Design firms in the City and East Bay. After my stint as an Interior Designer, I returned to Cal--as an employee. The next twenty years or so was split between working temporary positions throughout campus, and a career position in the Information Technologies Administrative Computing unit of the Residential & Student Services Program department.
