Elmer's Story
Life
A month after graduation I enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. I was on active duty 16 Jan 1981 until 30 Apr 2001. That's 20 yrs, 3 months, and 15 days. I retired at the rank of MSgt/E-7. My service to my country is my proudest accomplishment. I was stationed at Bergstrom AFB, Austin Texas (81-85), Anderson AFB, Guam (86-88), Kunsan AB, Republic of Korea (88-89), and Travis AFB, Fairfield CA (89-01). I was temporarily assigned at the following locations: Germany, Okinawa, Cuba, Azores, Cape Verdes, Soa Tome, Alaska, New Zealand, Antarctica, Midway Island, Philippines, I think that's it!

here until I retire again at 55 years old. I am located in Suisun City CA, 55 miles north east of San Francisco. I've been here since April 1989.
I am on my second marriage, and have two beautiful kids from my first marriage. Stefani was born July 1983 in Austin Texas, and Steven on 24 May 1986, in Guam.
I hope that many of you will contact me. I was the ninth member of the class of 1980 to join this registry and I am glad to see that it has grown considerably.

I retired from Valero Refining February 18,2022, 21 years of mostly fun and exciting times. No more working for me, other than what I want to do with House and my sport cars.
