Emily's Story
My life now:
I currently live in Mississippi. My daughter and I survived Hurricane Katrina and made the decision two years later to leave New Orleans for good. I moved back to my family's homestead in North Mississippi and couldn't be happier. We live out in the country. Maggie's 9 now and is making straight A's in school. e relaxed since the move. All in all, it was the best decision for us both.
I'm now working in a hospital assisting in Medicaid claims. It's boring, but it keeps a roof over our heads.
I'm into photography now. Once I went digital, I never went back!
