Emmett (Rusty) Andrews:  

Life After South High I spent four years getting my college degree at Manhattan Christian College in Manhattan, KS. Halfway through I married Jenne Foster (South Class of 1973). After college we moved back to Wichita where I worked at KARD-TV and FM (now KSNW) for two years, then moved back to Manhattan where I worked for my alma mater. Three years later I started a communications business (lasted eighteen months) then went to work for the Kansas State University Foundation. In 1992 I went back to school at Kansas State, got my masters and PhD, and now have a private practice in marriage and family therapy and human systems consulting in Manhattan. The practice web site is andrewsinc.net. I also do presentations on a variety of personal and business topics. I teach one class each semester at Manhattan Christian College (a counseling class in the spring and a human sexuality class in the fall) and have taught for the graduate programs in marriage and family therapy at Kansas State University and Friends University. I got the chance to be the interim director of the K-State MFT grad programs while they were looking for a permanent new faculty member in 2006-2007, which was a lot of fun. Occasionally I'll have a student in a class at MCC that is the son or daughter of a classmate from college. That makes me think!
