Eric's Story
Life
I was enlisted in the Marine corps on my 17th birthday. After I graduated high school, I worked for pressure concrete untill I went to boot camp. I came off active duty in Oct. '95 and moved to Las Vegas. I worked in a steel yard there. I was talked into moving back to Wisconsin by Christina McCool, who is now my wife. I worked for Lemans Corp. in technical support for two years. Before that, I worked at Thunder Valley Motorsports untill it closed. I graduated from Blackhawk Tech with a degree in Nursing in '02. e '04 when my Marine reserve unit was activated to go to Iraq. My daughter, Lainey, was born 09Aug03. I returned to Janesville 08 April 05 from Iraq. Attended Truck driving school while on leave and got my CDL. Returned to work at Mercy Hospital. May06 got hired by Liebovich Steel and Aluminum to drive a semi part-time. My son, Cap, was born March 8th 06. My reserve unit was activated again June 07 for my second tour of Iraq. Returned to Wisconsin August 08. Returned to Mercy hospital and Liebovich where I am currently working now. Still working in intensive care.
