Eric's Story
Wow, it's been a long time. I got married in 1970, (one daughter) divorced in 1976. Remarried in 1980, will be 35 years this year. We have two sons and a daughter. I worked in Quality Control and calibration for over 40 years. Trained people, did some design work, ended up in Sales. I enjoyed it, but retired fully last year. My oldest son (Eric) is getting married this August, and is back in school for Criminal Justice. My next son (Curtis) is following in my footsteps as a Quality Technician. He travels a fair amount to work at customer's facilities. He has a 5 year old son, Daniel, who is, of course, really cute. My youngest daughter (Lauren) followed in her mother's footsteps and is a Registered Nurse. My wife (Theresa) is still working part time on the Oncology floor at Froedtert. ire after 40 years as a nurse, which will be in 2 years. We love to travel and cruising is our favorite. We have been to the Caribbean, Alaska, Mexico, Europe, South America and Hawaii. We already have a cruise planned for January 2016. We live in Wauwatosa and have no plans to move, even though our house is fairly large for the two of us. I still drive my 1971 Mustang convertible once in a while. We adopted a new dog in January 2014. He was a rescue from Mississippi, and he is a great little Terrier/Spaniel mix. My daughter gave my wife a kitten for Mother's Day 2015 to add to our family of pets.
June 2016 update - My wife decided to retire in November 2015 from Nursing, and is enjoying it. Our daughter is currently working as a nurse in the Chicago area. We are just relaxing and enjoying retirement.
