Eric's Story
Hello Everyone,
After graduating from Capitol high school I went back home to Cleveland, Ohio to take a break from a difficult break up from an heart break and shifting my young high school mind to more mature things of life. I decided to attend Southern University, where I played football for four years and received my Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. At this time I had gotten married and had two sons. After college I played in the USFL (United States Football League) with the News Orleans Breakers. This career and the marriage did not work out so I move out and joined the military and moved to Germany. At this time I thought my life was on the right track, I was able to make rank very fast and learn more about life. While I served my country and still doing so, I got married again and had another son. Through numerous deployments and hard times this marriage did not work out either, and it started making me really think was marriage thing for me or not. Going through many sessions of counseling and church¿s seeking Gods help and advice, I am now married again, with more wisdom, knowledge, and understanding making this one of the best times of my life. Sometimes I feel like the success has been overwhelming; but God has been ...Expand for more
on my and my family's side. I have been able to see various countries that I know a lot of my peers have not had the opportunity to see; like (Europe, France, Chez Republic, Italy, London, Kuwait and Qatar, Iraq, Afghanistan). So I've had a fulfilled life and trust me when I say, I've been blessed. I'm still married, rising over seven kids with my first grandson being born last month. If I had to do it all again, I would ask the lord to allow me to take the path I've taken this lifetime. The struggles, pains, fears and tears were well worth it!!!!!!!!!
Most of all, God has allow me another chance with all that I have been through and seen to live happily Ever After now. Remember everyday is not promised; enjoy each one like it¿s your last. ¿Love¿ is just a word; it¿s the action that that word implies that counts. Whatever you are willing to give up something for freely, is what you love. Hopefully it¿s your spouse because one day your parents will pass and your kids will leave. What will you have left, if you don¿t have effective communication with that spouse. Stops existing, and start living, if you¿re catching hell, do not hold it. And if you¿re going through hell, don¿t stop. I am the OTHER side of it, and it¿s GREAT!!!!!!!
