Ericka's Story
Life
I still leave in Harlingen. I have four girls my oldest is fifteen years old, my second is ten, third child is six, and the youngest is a year old. They are amazing kids. Now I am a softball/basket ball mom. My girls love to horse play, they are a hand full. I have to be on my toes all the time.
School
I have so many memories. School was the place where we spend most of our time. So a lot of things happened that now you wounder how did we ever survive those years. I remember one of my friends getting drunk during class time and trying to find a place to hide her before she'd get caught. made it this far. Some days were hard, but I still miss those years. I remember when all my friends and I would sit in the cafeteria in the morning and talked about weekend plans. Or the food fights, hiding under the table trying not to get food on our clothing. Getting caught and trying to get off. But they were amazing now I am in many ways reliving those years with me kids. I went to a football game and cried when I heard the band it brought back a lot of memories. My oldest goes to HHSS. She is very smart and plays sports. I get to remember moments, and see some of my classmates through school functions. I also pray that my baby girl goes trough her high school years without any permanent damage.
