Erik's Story
Clarkrange HS for grades 7-9. Anderson County HS for grades 10-12. Graduated from ACHS in 1987. Played college soccer at Hiwassee College for one year while majoring in pre-med. Got bored. Joined the Marine Corps for four years including Desert Shield and Desert Storm in 1990-91 and two other overseas "trips". Went back to school focused. Earned B.S. and M.S...Expand for more
. degrees from TN Tech in Cookeville. Then went to work for the USDA providing assistance to private landowners. Throughout this got married and started a family (four kids). After college we lived in the Jamestown area (Grimsley, Banner Springs and Wartburg) for a few years. Moved to Bozeman, Montana for 16 years then relocated to Ames, Iowa a few years ago.
