Life
Hi all!
After high school, I went to college for a couple of years, but I wasn't at a place in my life when I was ready for it, so I took a break. In February '97 I moved to California to work at a small networking company. I ended up in the marketing department as an event marketing manager. That's where I met my ex-husband, Felix. We got married here in CA in July '01 (Roy Mendoza was my Honor Attendant).
I quit my job in 2000 to go back to school to get my BA in Behavior Sciences and Anthropology...Expand for more
, with a minor in Women's Studies. I became quite involved in feminist politics, so started working in the non-profit field. After 3 years of living paycheck to paycheck, I decided to go back to the corporate world.
My husband and I split up in 2006, after 5 mostly happy years of marriage. I found myself in a wonderful new (if not conventional!) relationship with a married couple. I love them both dearly, and we are making this family work. Babies are on the horizon soon, which is getting us all very excited!
