Erin's Story

Life My husband and I married in 2000 and moved to Dayton, OH. He's an engineer who decided to start his career with the Air Force. Our first station was Wright Patterson Air Force Base, and we haven't left. He is now out of the Air Force, but still does work on the base with a very small (only 5 people, including him) engineering company. I received my Early Childhood Education degree in 2004. Instead of getting a job, we decided to start having kids. Evie (short for Evelyn) was born in January 2005, Alex (Alexander) was born March 2006 and Vince (Vincent) was born January 2008. want 4 kids, all close in age. When they are old enough, I will be homeschooling all of my kids, so I will probably never have a full-time job outside of my home. My one hobby, outside of my family, is handbells. I play with a group that meets once a week, and performs a few times each semester (except summer). We will probably also be staying in the Dayton area permanently since there are plenty of jobs for my husband, and life is by far cheaper here. The community we live in is excellent, and the state is supportive of homeschooling families. Plus, I've made too many friends to leave now!
