Eugene's Story
There isn't anything I would do over in my life except for not accepting Jesus Christ as my savior sooner than I did. Because HE picked me up when I had hit rock bottom. I waited until I was facing 13 to 36 years in prison. That is when I got my wake up call. I wouldn't change going to prison. It helped me to become a stronger person. Emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I came closer to GOD through out my incarceration from 2004 to 2006. Most of the principals at the schools I attended saw me on a regular basis. if you stuck around Buckhannon. If not I was convicted of malicious wounding, and carring a concealed weapon. And charged with 2nd degree sexual assault. Which was thrown out... Which the newspapers had no problem plastering it beside my name when I was going to be indicted, but when I beat the charge they didn't think it to be news worthy. Oh well all that accomplished was to trash me in the media. But by the grace of GOD I have left my past behind me, and started a new life in a different part of West Virginia. Married my wife and started a family. I know that some people will judge me by my actions, but not all will.
