Eva (Linda)'s Story
Hi everyone, You all probably remember me as (Linda Bakomihalis, well after moving to the USA, I had to use my baptismal name, Eva: Short for Evangelia.
I teach at an Elementary School. This year I am mostly substituting.
Graduated from McGill in 1985 with a Bachelors Degree in Elem. Ed.
Live my life to the fullest and enjoy my four kids with my husband.
Love it here in Florida, only I miss having the change in seasons, and believe it or not I miss the snow too.....
From time to time we take off and visit family in Mtl.,
Never regret moving here though.
Life is good.... :)
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a bad idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
To blow off steam I get in my car drive to a friends ,play the oldies and then we enjoy an ice cold coffee together...
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have at least my Greek coffee, an American coffee, and a sm...Expand for more
all sweet to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
Ah,Yes,I'd like to see many teachers, but above all, my ninth grade English teacher, Mr.Patterson, who inspired me and taught me to have courage and be positive,creative and helped me see how things do come together when only we allow them to.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is my LSHS teachers and friend because I miss them.Time flies and I'd like to know how they are doing.
My obsession to relieve stress is to go for a brisk walk for at least an hour,:) it works.
I have trophies on my mantel from sparring and Karate competitions, which I worked really hard to earn fighting some big sized fighters...
In 10 years, I hope to be visiting Mtl., almost every year. I'm going to get there by working hard now and saving what I can to be able to afford an investment,like a home..
