Update* 07 August 2015 ~~~ For my last visits, m oncologists say I remain cancer free. This month will be 4 years for the tonsil and November will be 5 years for the breast cancer. We remain waiting for the oral surgery to remove the remainder of my teeth and the 20 treatments pre surgery and 10 post surgery. On the 12th, Bob and I will celebrate our 15th anniversary. It seems like yesterday! Our 4 rescued boys are still all thriving. Ev Update* 09 August 2013 ~~~ 3 of our rescued dogs went to Rainbow Bridge. We have 3 others and they are all rescues, too. All four have Chihuahua in them. Bruzer the Chorkie is still with us. The newer kids are Snuggles a long haired chi, KoKo a chi/pharaoh hound mix, and Slick a smooth coat Dachshund/long haired chi mix. Last week my ENT gave me a still clear on the tonsil cancer. That makes 2 years for it and 2 1/2 years for the breast cancer. Unless health issues keep us in FL, we are planning on going to the 50th class reunion next year. It will be fun to see classmates I'm sure. Ev Update* After finishing treatment for the BC on March 21, 2011,, I went for my 6 week checkup and the doctor found something on my right tonsil. Yes, another cancer. I had to have 8 teeth removed and a feeding tube inserted before treatment could start. I should be finishing both radiation and chemo by the end of August, 2011. Ev Update* In November, 2010, Ev was diagnoist with breast cancer. Thank goodness she had her yearly mammogram, as it was found while still Stage 1.
