Faye's Story
Life
Hi,
For those of you who remember me from Sir Winston - I'm
currently living in Toronto (actually Thornhill). I often
wonder what happenned to everyone I knew. Everyone has
left Montreal - it feels a bit like "Fiddler on the Roof"
where we are strangers looking for old faces that we knew.
Since I left school, I worked for about 9 years in the airline industry. In 1982 I started working as a computer
programmer and progressed to management positions. All the
while, I was completing my undergraduate degree at night.
I finally finished (at U of T) and decided that I wanted to
do something more stimulating t...Expand for more
han design "one more billing system" - so I applied to graduate school, never imagining
that they would accept me. Suprise! They did!
So, now I'm at University of Toronto, completing my
Master's degree in Computer Science. My area of research
is Computational Linguistics. I hope to finish this soon and get a life again one day.
If you went to school with me, and read this message,
please don't hesitate to write. I'd love to hear from
you. My memories of Sir Winston, and my peers remains
quite vivid, so chances are that if you remember me, I
probably remember you.
