Felicia's Story

I hope that old friends remember me as always entertaining, willing to try most anything once, hard-headed, and a total daddy's girl. I always wanted to be a doctor when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a time consuming idea. As it turns out, they were right. When I need to blow off steam at work I TRY to count to ten before speaking. At home I put Joe in charge (if he's not in the field), lock myself in the bathroom, and take a long bath. The wildest thing I ever did in school?? I was pretty good from 8-3. After school?? You name it and I probably did it at least once (maybe twice--lol). If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have coffee, coffee, and more coffee to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My hero was my daddy. I could do no wrong in his eyes and he could do no wrong in mine. Besides McCrory, I have lived in Conway, Jonesboro, Brookland, Newark, Cord, and finally Sulphur Rock. I hope I never have to pack again in my life! (unless it's for a vacation) The biggest surprise about life is how happy I am at home. I love the time I get to just stay home! Nowhere to go and nowhere to be. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my bathroom and add on an office. My dream home would be a vacation home on the beach. a dirty car and enjoy the little things that make them laugh. My current age is 28. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be gray headed. I was so completely unaware of all Linda Joyner can do. LOL I am currently teaching science to jr. and sr. high kids. I know I'll go back for a master's but not in the near future. I have no idea what happened to my first crush. My best friend would tell you I'm the life of the party, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as reserved. (I hide it well!) If I had to do anything over, I would probably tell people how much they meant to me. In 10 years, I hope to be wrinkle free. I'm going to get there by botox, botox, botox. LOL Katrina (Lawman) Alumbaugh is my oldest friend. We met long before we started school. Who knows how you click when you're that age. She probably let me use her sand shovel and the river or something. My first job was at Norman Caudle Farms, where I got paid $50 to drive a tractor. What I remember most about it is wishing for rain. On Joe Goings Farms it doesn't matter if it rains, sleets, snows, hails, or floods! You better be up and ready to go because, "you're burning daylight!" I'll never forget my experiences growing up. They made me who I am today and I love this life!!
