Felicia's Story
Life
I've been a teacher for 10 years, after enjoying a number of other careers. I've just starting taking Horticulture classes working toward a landscape design degree. Huntington, New York has been my home, on and off, for almost 30 years (how is that possible?), but I've lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico and, for a very long 3 months, Amarillo, Texas. I'm divorced and have a very independent, 21-year old daughter who is funny, smart, and beautiful. Life is wonderful!
The best teaching job that I had was two...Expand for more
years traveling with the Big Apple Circus, teaching in the One Ring Schoolhouse! That was great! I had twelve students, grades 2 through 11, and two of them spoke only Russian. My daughter was in my 4th grade class - we weathered a tornado and a motor home fire, but it was an incredible adventure!
I've been involved in politics, music, dog showing, horticulture, herbal medicine, and a handful of other interests and careers....we never know what life will bring to our doorstep, but it's always interesting!
